Ethan Dabbs, a recent graduate of Virginia, secured sixth place in the men's javelin throw competition with a third-round effort of 245-7 (74.86m) at the USATF Throws Festival at Roy P. Drachman Stadium in Tucson, Ariz. Dabbs is scheduled to compete May 24 for the Cavaliers at the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, Fla.
